It directly processes the weak signals from vibrating wires, differential resistance and other sensors at the acquisition end, and then sends them out through wired or 4G networks. Engineering sites often have complex environments. It provides targeted protection against surges and electromagnetic interference, and can withstand long-term projects. For projects that require a large number of channels, module stack expansion is also supported. The Highprecision Central Acquisition Module was polished from this experience. From a hardware perspective, the acquisition board uses a high-resolution analog-to-digital conversion device, and the front-end signal conditioning circuit is specially optimized to more faithfully pick up the μA-level current or mV-level voltage output by the sensor without losing much detail. The channel design takes into account common vibrating wire, differential resistance, and standard voltage and current signals on site. The same module can be connected to several sensors without the need for a bunch of additional conversion boxes. In terms of installation and maintenance, the shell and terminal blocks are moisture-proof according to the requirements of outdoor applications, and the power supply and communication interface are isolated. Lightning strikes and power fluctuations often occur in engineering. Surge absorption and common mode suppression are implemented inside the module. It is not a black technology, but it can indeed reduce the repair rate. In terms of software, the supporting configuration tool allows you to set sampling intervals, channel parameters, and threshold alarms directly on your laptop without writing scripts on site. Common vibrating wire and differential resistance sensors, as well as standard voltage (0-5V) and current (4-20mA) output devices can be connected. To mix different types of sensors on the same module, just set them in the channel configuration software without additional connections.
The accuracy mainly depends on the analog-to-digital converter inside. We choose a 24-bit Sigma-Delta ADC. In practical applications, there is no problem in distinguishing the readings of two micro-strain level vibrating wire sensors. When high-precision applications are required, it is recommended to pay attention to shielding during on-site wiring. Environmental interference will also affect the final effect.
The module shell has a waterproof connector. It is recommended to use shielded wires for power and communication lines and run them separately from AC high-power lines. If the risk of lightning strikes is high on site, we recommend adding a first-level lightning protection module to the sensor incoming line. Although the module itself has surge protection, double insurance is more secure.
The standard configuration is RS485, which can be connected to 4G wireless on the DTU and also supports Modbus TCP in the LAN. Kingmach's own wireless collection system can be used to send directly to the cloud platform; if you have an existing collection network, it will be no problem to connect according to the protocol.
Yes. The module supports cascading, multiple modules are connected through the RS485 bus, and the main collector polls uniformly. A single module defaults to 8 or 16 channels, which can be selected when ordering. For later expansion, just add modules to the bus and add configurations in the software.
