Temperature Humidity Data Loggers for Field Monitoring
Getting consistent temperature and humidity readings over weeks or months isn’t always straightforward. Sensor drift, battery life, and data offload are real concerns when you’re monitoring a construction site, a storage facility, or a geotechnical project. Kingmach builds temperature humidity data loggers with these field challenges in mind. Many models use industrial-grade sensors, typically holding accuracy within ±0.3°C and ±2% RH after calibration—adequate for trend tracking and compliance. The loggers store thousands of time-stamped records and offload via USB, so you don’t need proprietary hardware to get your data. For networks, RS485 and wireless options are available. Because we’re a manufacturer, we can customize probe lengths, enclosures, and cable lengths to fit your site. Our technical team handles both standard configurations and projects where you need something built from scratch—no middleman delays.
Technical Detail
Kingmach’s temperature humidity data loggers are designed for long-term environmental monitoring in challenging outdoor and indoor settings. The housings often meet IP65 or better, keeping out dust and splashing water, and the internal memory can hold up to 32,000 readings per channel—enough for unattended campaigns of several months when logging at 10-minute intervals. Battery life typically spans 12–18 months with fresh lithium cells under normal temperature ranges; faster sampling rates or extreme cold will reduce that span, as with any battery-powered instrument. Compatibility is built into the workflow. The logger connects via a standard USB cable, and the supplied software runs on Windows. It exports data as CSV or PDF, so you can push readings directly into your lab’s analysis software, spreadsheet tools, or archive systems without extra conversion steps. Some models support Modbus RTU over RS485 for integration into SCADA or PLC networks. Wireless loggers are also available where on-site wiring is impractical. Because Kingmach is a specialist manufacturer of geotechnical instruments, our engineers can adapt standard models for specific site conditions. You might need a remote PT100 probe instead of an onboard sensor, a split cable gland for a pressurized chamber, or a logger that tolerates condensing humidity in a cold store. These are routine customizations for us. We provide calibration certificates traceable to standards where required, and our global distribution network means you can get local support and spares without long delays. Every logger ships with detailed documentation and direct access to our technical support team for setup assistance or post-deployment troubleshooting.

FAQ
Standard models are typically accurate to ±0.3°C and ±2% RH when properly calibrated. That’s sufficient for most field monitoring tasks. If your application calls for tighter specs, we can hand-pick sensors or offer factory calibration to meet a narrower tolerance—just mention your requirements during the quote phase.
Yes. Many of our loggers have an external probe input, often for a PT100 or thermistor. You can specify the probe length, cable length, and probe type when ordering. This is common in situations where the logger body needs to stay outside a chamber or pipe while the sensor goes inside.
Most units use a standard USB connection, but we also supply loggers with Bluetooth or integrated cellular modems. With a phone app you can pull readings wirelessly and email the CSV file. For fixed installations, RS485 or Modbus links let a remote PC poll the logger on schedule.
We build them with conformal coating on the electronics and often use Gore vents to equalize pressure without letting liquid water in. The enclosure typically carries an IP65 or IP67 rating. Condensation can still form on the outside, but the sensor element is protected. For permanently wet conditions like soil embedment, we offer fully potted versions—just describe your conditions when you ask for a quote.
It depends on the changes needed and current factory loading. Simple modifications like a different cable length or probe type usually ship within 2–3 weeks. More involved customizations—new sensor ranges, special communication protocols, or environmental testing—may take 4–6 weeks. We’ll give you a firm timeline after reviewing your requirements.
